Our product ranges are tested by the Furniture Industry Research Association (F.I.R.A), ensuring that products are tried and tested before entering the market place. This applies to both the furniture structure and to the fire retardant fabrics that we upholster our furniture with. We can now offer up to 10 years guarantee on some fabrics (subject to normal wear and tear).
As you would expect, buying a UK Manufactured product, will result in quicker lead times, allowing us to deliver your furniture project on time and in full. This also allows continuity of parts supply should you need them, and of course, a quick response time.
Having a strong Environmental ethos, Future Furniture’s portfolio of products are scrutinized to ensure that we uphold our environmental commitments and that the following sustainable issues are not only met but exceeded and continually improved upon:
- Wooden products have a sustainable wood certification such as the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC). This will ensure that all timber used in our products come from a forest that is renewed and re-planted after tree felling.
- Products are manufactured in a working environment that adheres to British legislation on labour rates and working conditions.
- Products are pre-dominantly UK sourced (excluding some parts), to en-sure a lower carbon footprint through closer transport links.
- Paint and painting process are non-toxic and have certificated proof that they are manufactured using non-volatile organic compounds (VOCs)
- Waste packaging is removed from site and recycled as part of our installation processes.
